I'm still kickin' it!

SANTA VACA!!! school is starting already?!?! hahahaha oh madeline what a silly girl i cannot believe that kalee is a senior and madeline is at the high school... that scares me, i still got bub and brandon there to beat up any guys that get any ideas and i heard as a missionary if someone messes with your sisters all i have to do is say a prayer and a giant lighting will strike the person doin it hahaha. im so proud of ryker he is bein that older brother to everyone on the bus now! what a stud!!! Brody and Camden,those poor little guys dont have a million people to play with anymore, how is that goin? are they getting into everything? i got the announcement from crystalin that is soooo sooo awesome she got married! mom thats sweet about the cna class, i think you will enjoy that. oh addison haha yeah i saw him alot ha he covered my last area for english work so i saw him everyday. how is he doin? we moved thursday which i am very glad for we have alot more room ha i liked the last place cuz it was fun and what not but it was super duper crammed and it was with english elders 2 of which were brand new into the mission. we live with the familia bradshaw they are super awesome. Me and elder pierson are way good, workin super hard lookin for people. he is from raymond alberta canada. we are finding lots of potentials but can never get a hold of people. i saw scherbel 3 sundays ago at a fireside and he is doin good. so the heat, i would say yes im tired of it cuz it is killer but i have been trying to look at all the positive thing. so no im not tired of it cuz everytime i feel it it means im still alive and the sun came up once again. it means i was just in somewhere that was airconditioned and so we either taught a lesson, helped someone or left our awesome members house that we live in. it means the plants will continue to grow cuz they get the sun they need. it means that i am still serving the lord and im in the place where he wants me to be. everything here is good, i dont think i need anything right now. oh yeah im gonna have to have marsh pick up my guitar cuz they made a rule no more intruments, so if you can see when he can do that sometime in the next couple weeks and let me know in my next email that would be awesome. biggest challenge is just finding people that will listen, but its comin along hopefully we will have some this next week. that was an awesome peom and is soooo true, ha way to true... i love my mission and if i were to say it is easy i would be lying but nothing in this life is too difficult and so im still kickin it :) well i gotta run i love you all and hopefully i will have some updates on investigators and stuff next week!

This is an amazing opportunity!

so im sure you are semi freaking out cuz i didnt email yestereday but we had zone confrence and so we taught yesterday. hey it was not me that made the basement a mess ha, it was the boys they are just doin better so it looks like it was me when i was there! haha right now the place we are in is a bomb shell cuz we are with 3 other elders... im living out of my suitcase cuz there is nowhere to put my stuff... i want our own place back. wow soudns like you all have alot goin on CNA program thats cool and awesome that you 2 are doin it together. you will do awesome! i think that everyone in the family has changed alot since i left its weird idk. you have been doin a ton of stuff, that is alot of canning! thats sounds like fun though. my birthday... ha i got my package the day after but it kinda felt like a normal day ha got up worked like usual and ate some cake that grandma and gramps had marsh and dana drop off. i love how you put those scriptures and so does everyone else, i think there is only 1 i couldnt guess but i dont remember which one it was. i had a blast and i loved everything thank you so much! i heard from courtney price a couple days before my birthday and bobbie and of course morgan. i did get hartman and emilys gift and it was really nice to hear from them! im glad everyone else remembers me too! haha Mom your not satisified with any of it! ha before you were sayin oh you have tooo much time left and now oh no i havnt done everything i want to yet haha. what else do you want to get done before i get there? wow everyone leaving is crazy... im gonna get back and they will have a whole year left.i need kegs info for mtc and email. me and elder pierson are doin awesome together its amazing! we still dont have many people but we are finding alot of potential families and will start to have lots soon! well a spiritual and funny experiences. the other night we decided to take a new route cuz we both felt impressed to do so. so we did and there was a guy cuttin down a tree, (this is after we had prayed to find someone hopefully a family through a service oppourtunity) well we helped him get part of it done and told him we would come back and he said ok and and we said if your not here we will just start with out you and he said yeah yeah ok. well we show up he is there so we do another third of the tree and he shows up and he was soooo surprised we actually came and so we said that we would come back and finish with him and he said well i have no money and we said oh brother we arent doing this for money and he said how can i repay you and we said we dont want to be repayed but we do want to share a little message that will bless your family after we finish and he said ok so we are goin back tomorow to finish up and share the gospel with them! so i am about out of time im a slow typer but i love you all and i miss you too but its an amazng oppurtunity that i have and i love it alot! have an amazing week!

The Gospel brings more joy than anything!

my week has been crazy. i just dont even know ha. my new comp is so awesome! we get along great and we are gonna show this ward what missionary work is about. we are tryin to get to know all of the members in our half of the area so that we can use them to find people and fellowship them. he is from alberta canada, we have the same first name, he has a sister named kalee, and he likes to fish. WEIRD! he has been out for 17 months so he has about 6 left. yes we are on bikes and its crazy cuz since we were gettin a new area they didnt have housing for us so we are living with 3 other elders, in part of the mesa grande area so i see people from my first area like everyday... his fam and he have been members for a long time. ha sorry this is gonna be jumbled.so hump day and my birthday... 365 down 365 to go ha its crazy that im 20 and half way done, i honestly dont feel different age wise... still feel like the same old me that is crazy and wants to be crazy and what not. mom i have officially learned on my mission that its not big things, or expensive things that make something a good gift or something great, its the simple heart felt ones. i have one thing to give people and its not expensive, its not gonna be a big screen tv but it is heartfelt, and its with all the love that i have and it is very simple. simple but it brings more joy than a giant mansion on the top of a mountian with every toy you can think of, more joy than anything. its funny cuz i get little pictures from brody and camden and kids in the ward or who we teach and they make me soooo happy. so dont think you are lame, i love everything you send. so that little blonde girl still visits :) that makes me happy ha so all the secrets and what not they told you is not all true. no one drove any of our cars with out liscences but yes there may or may not have been 3 ball teams at the house but i thought you knew about all that cuz of the whole garrett runnin over the bike thing. ha so how did you find out about all kalees secrets? WOW keg is leavin... i need his email info and what not porfavor. that is crazy thoughi will definately pray for them i feel like shelly is gonna need it. you did... you sprayed thistle? that is tough mom you and grandma should not be doin that. ugh school, its already started here... crazy. so i will tell you about last night cuz it was a cool spirit moment. so it was about time to go home and our plans got bounced around and we were in an area that we didnt know who to go visit and so we stopped and prayed and i just said we are in this area please help us know where to go to find someone. well i remembered seeing this house with a light on and i thought they were formers that no one could get a hold of so we went there and they answered the door and we talked to them for a sec and we found out that the dad didnt have a BoM so we gave him one and we have a return appointment but it was really neat to have the spirit lead us like that. i gotta write a ton of letters today cuz i been slackin cuz of movin which il have to do again and what not but i gotta get letters to maddy and bridge today and a couple other people that wrote me. funny story though well i thought it was funny but semi sad cuz the guy was so drunk but we were teachin a recent convert and a white guy that drinks a ton lives in the same house and we are talkin to the convert and the other guy was watchin a football game and in the middle of our prayer he starts yellin get that roach GET THAT COCKROACH! haha he was talkin about the players hahahahaha i about died. the guy was sooooo smashed, he drinks over 20 a day... anyway i hope you all have a great day today i love you all a bunch!!!

Getting transferred!

so transfer news...... i am getting transfered, im whitewashing in a new area but im still in the same zone haha. i will be in the liahona 2nd ward so i am leaving my ward that im in... im getting elder pierson from canada. thats about all i know though ha. i took my camera already we found one thats in the mission but it was a ways away, they had to ship it out and will send it straight to me. so that is taken care of but thanks a bunch anyway. im so happy for Zach and Alex taking their endowments out! i cant believe that! i didnt know that travis anderson was out!?!?!?! that is soooooo awesome!!! yeah i would much rather be outside than inside walking too. thats great that KaLee and Madeline had a good time, i knew they would especially cuz dad and chris together is just asking for a wild time ha. marsh dropped the box off at the vc and i got it that day which was pretty sweet and yes i loved the jam! so did elder isom ha he wants some. i dont really need anything, im doin pretty good. il take what ever you send but you dont need to send anything though im doin good. holy crap everyone is gettin married ha what the heck?!? its like the prophet told people to start gettin married or something, oh wait that was one if the biggest things in April confrence! no fishin this week or today im gettin hair cuts and packin and what not. i do love fishin though :) best day was saturday and was also the day i felt the spirit the most cuz we had a baptism! Demian Leon who is the son of a recent convert got baptized. it was amazing and in january i will get to go to their sealing!!! so last night we at dinner they gave us pepsi and one of the sister missionaries that are in our ward is really sensitive with caffine and she drank 2 and was all sorts of crazy and hyper it was hilarious, i dont think that i have ever seen anyone react to caffine like that. it was pretty funny. investigators in liahona 4th we dont really have any anymore and i dont know what we are goin into for the new area... we shall see. ive learned alot in my companionship, we have gotten alot closer and im actually sad to go. im really lookin forward to meet my new comp and get this new area goin and to help some people out, it will be exciting. we went to the temple in the beggining of the transfer so i wont go for a little bit. we have whats called a mission tour in september and a general authority will be here but we dont know who. im excited though! well thats about it, i dont know what else to tell ya. i got lots to do today so its gonna be crazy.i hope that everything is amazing and that sports are goin well! i love you all and hope you have a wonderful day!

Be cautious about the computer

well him droppin it off at the vc will be fine i can pick it up there just have them call me. ha mom i said dont worry bout packin around things ha i can get by. its been a wild day i just dont even know, one of my zone leaders is so immature and goes on power trips and no one likes him and i have about had it with him... anyway back to the other stuff, i would love it if it poured rain haha its really hot and i love it but a little more rain would be amazing! wow you got a nice little walk in this morning. we got up this mornign and had a zone activity. FISHIN!!! haha it was sooo fun i have a few pics from the big fish i caught. that is soooo sweet about kade, i am so stoked for him. you saw all of those guys, thats awesome ha tell everyone hi man its so crazy that everyone is goin on missions. everything feels a little surreal on the mission when i think about like everyone back home. brody and the cast, im jealouse cuz i always wanted a cast... hahaha high adventure will be awesome! i would love some rasberries when i get home.im glad your garden is doin good. my week went so fast idk its crazy, we had some good lessons and stuff did some service. we have a baptism this coming week, his name is damien and his parents are recent converts and he is gonna finally get baptized. oh idk what kind of protection you have on the computer but get all sorts of it that blocks ALL kinds of porn and that you have to put in passwords to get through if it is even a little sketchy. i have seen some problem with very young kids with that! So, me and elder isom are good everything has been a little better, he goes home in 4 months. funny stories, gosh idk the size of the fish and the pole i caught it on was pretty funny. i felt the spirit the most in a lesson with damien, i knew that there was a probelem with something and how to address it which was awesome. the mission is a giant obstacle course, things fall through and you dont know what to do, people tell you that they dont want you to come over anymore, people dont come to church. too many obstacles. seein marsh is always cool, i have definately seen him more on the mission than i have in the past years at home haha. all is really good here, transfers is next week i cant believe it time goes so fast, il be an old man soon. i do miss you all alot and love you bunches! i know your all being watched over while im gone. i love you lots!

the spirit testifies!

sounds like a very very crazy week. poor brody, marsh told me but i didnt get all the info. ha i never got to see marsh before the mish but now i see him all the time. haha i feel pretty good and for the most part i am healthy haha i have pink eye right now but its not too bad i got drops and its gettin way better.im glad everyone liked their stuff i didnt know if they would. being a doctor would be awesome but i dont think im smart enough for that business... i have thought about that cuz everytime i go into a doctors office i wanna do it but i always wanna learn all the parts and bones in spanish. idk tho. that is hilarious that brody jumped into the pool with his cast on. im stoked that the girls are goin to OYA. so this letter is gonna be short cuz im gonna have a WHOLE day of fun today. we went fishin last week and we are going to do it again today. It was fun and it was the sister's first time fishing and first fish!! anyway sounds like a wild party there with all the family. YOU WROTE KALEES TALK!?!?! wow thats ridiculous hahaha i had to write all of mine what the heck. i love bub! he is the bomb! wait til Brandon gets his call but tell him that you have something for him. i wrote him a while ago and never heard from him... so we had a cool experience that kinda smacked me in the face and its definately a lesson for everyone that has to learn a language. so we went to the visitors center for a lesson and our investigators didnt show but a lady from tempe came and it was for a first lesson and the tempe missionaries just decided not to show and so we decided to teach her. she had a member with her amd like we had a way awesome lesson and then at the end of the lesson the member asked me to bare my testimony in spanish and i said yeah... no one there spoke spanish but my comp but i did it and then when i was done the member said did you feel that? to the lady and she said yeah and he says thats what i love about this message and gospel, no matter what language its in you can feel the truth of it. it really hit me hard cuz its true, especially for keg and bub and all those who are headed out. your gonna make mistakes whether your speaking english or another language but as long as you have the spirit it doesnt matter. just send me anything mom i will be happy with what ever you send. you really dont need to send anything if you dont want ha i dont feel like its my birhtday so yeah haha. oh yeah one thing i do want is all the music we sang on sundays like the black binder.. there are sisters here that will play it for me. i got some pics for ya of my baptism and last p day. the baptism was way awesome!!! i gotta run though.

hahahah yeah its crazy how fast time flys and then seems not real. everyday! only i can remember for the most part things that happened. that is soooo awesome that you met up with Alisha twice! did she say anything about the missionaries? the Civil Rights museum sounds really cool. yeah they are my brothers that they hate and i dont do well with racism... especially now, i will hear a racist comment and the person that says it gets to hear my opinion on racism. its bad here against hispanics, blacks too. its blows my mind... good for Alisha to be getting her bachelors degree in biology thats sooo awesome! yeah, i can have some stuff ready for Marsh to bring home. i will get it ready and have it there today and he can pick it up when possible i am gonna send the baseball stuff i bought home ha. and probably other random things too. k il send my camera home i have the recipt and stuff so il make sure to put it all in with the box. i loved it when it was a constant family party haha well for the most part! but it sounds like a blast! Holy Cow, i am old... i dont feel 20 haha i do have to shave more and im a little bigger but i dont feel older, its weird and college stuff that blows my mind! me and kalee can room together if she wants or do that house thing together, its really up to her i would love it and would be soooo down for it but i dont wanna invade her space... so talk all that stuff over with her. oh elder klien is the man i love him! he is so great, i so hope he is doin well. we still keep in contact too so thats good. the week i have some serious mixed feelings about ha first il tell you why it stunk. it was rough comp wise but im over it and im just working to the best of my ability and we are blessed for it(thats good news and will come later) anyway next i popped 4 tubes this week 2 in one day one the next and then another the day after that.... im a little tired of bikes. so i bought all sorts of crap to keep tubes from popping cuz a good tube is 12 bucks and yeah...ummm other random stupid things happened but good news we have 3 investigators with baptismal dates 1 for this month and 2 for next!!!! we are gonna find even more this week and i am super duper stoked! also an investigator from our last part of the area is getting baptized this coming weekend! its gabriela. we are still knockin alot of doors, tryin to find service opportunities and just everything we are gonna start english classes too. everything else is good im actually losin a little weight now i had to make a new hole in my belt so thats good. i do 20-80 push ups in the morning and have some little work outs that i do so thats good and we are gonna start runnin again. we went to the temple too just barely it was so awesome! that was the day we found the new people. also jim smith took me through again, i believe that is the 3rd time ha and i saw jims dad at arbys one day too. im so proud your still goin to the temple that is sooo awesome that utah trip would be really cool but you should wait til keg is out of the mtc or you 2 will try and see him haha. Bubs call is sooooo awesome, he will fit right in there. its farms haha and he will love it!!! i would be fine with takin a nauvoo trip when i get home haha.... i sooooo hope brandon is workin on his papers that would be so great! keep that kid away from girls! well im glad to hear all is well i hope those cavities went well haha those little beasties haha i love them! well i love you all a ton and let me know if i can do anything for you all.

Caught in a giant dust storm!

thats so crazy that your in tennessee again, it seems like FOREVER since you were there last. yeah how awesome is it that alisha accepted the missionaries! gosh i was soooooooo happy when i heard. man thats crazy you have to be there so early. hey you get breakfast! :) its good for you and dad to have time alone its definately needed. family vacations are pretty awesome though! speaking of vacations i know marsh and dana are headed that way soon but idk when, idk if they are drivin or flyin but if they are drivin i was hopin to send a few things with them... idk if you can text them or find out for me. elder dawson is there?!?!?!?! whoop whoop i love him ha. i love that you are gettin everyone now all you need is elder rosa and he will be next lol. brixeys bro is good from what i hear, he said he emailed him today so hopefully. so my BUB got his call, im soooooo proud of him he will love it!!!! yeah! when he leaves im on the down hill... im not gonna have any friends when i get back just morgan and bobbie haha but i have the fam which i dont have to worry about you all leavin me lol. you will be sayin alot of good byes but you will get some hellos here quick too. andrew and kody will come and then me... yeah work on stuff for utah state, il stay close to home for a bit and see where it goes from there. the week has been good, we dont have actual investigators yet but we have some return appiontments which is sweet. we have been knockin EVERY door in our area, we started on one end and are goin clear to the other ha we will find people to teach! Elder Isom and I are gettin along alright, i just tell him that we are leaving at certian times and what we are doing, but its all good though like you said im learnin how not to be! he has 5 months left so yeah he doesnt have much time left. what have i learned about myself? that is a very good question. i have learned that when i need to do something and or have a desire to do something i find away, and sometimes i may sound discouraged but its really not the case. i have learned not to get discouraged but to work harder. i dont really know i feel like i learn alot of little things about myself alot. just keep praying that the lord will put prepared people in my way to talk to, im really working on talking to everyone so that when they are prepared i dont miss them. thank you so much for everything! i hope that everything is good there. oh yeah so my camera is being really really slow and different things are happening and idk what to do cuz there isnt a stinkin best buy in the mission that we can get to, they are all a long ways away or just out of the mission... idk if i should send everything to you or what but i wouldnt have a camera... idk. anyways let me know what you think we have the warranty and insurance or what ever on it so yeah it just needs to go to best buy... everything else is good here. ha i did get caught in the giant dust storm wall thing that looked like its from a movie but im good just was covered in dirt after. well i love ya all and hope your all havin a good summer!!!

the boys were trying an online playstation hook up??? the playstations we have dont do online... the xbox does... anyway im glad your here and got to email me, im sure everything was nuts over the fourth. it always was and will be cuz we are definately keeping that tradition of having the Petersons come. Ye, im so so glad that dad and Kenny were companions! idk i like most of my companions but its been a little tough with most of them cuz i either do everything or nothing ha. but idk i love bein here so much that it doesnt even matter! so i talked with a guy that served with andrew that just got home off his mission it was crazy and i dont remember his name though. hahahahahaha! Sondra was perfectly right i would have been all over in that roman candle war!!! im doin that when i get home for sure... idk with who, cuz everyone will be gone but im gonna. its sooooooo awesome about alisha listening to the missionaries! just a little miracle i guess. the week has been ok, tough cuz we had 0 investigators and white washing means that were going into area we havnt been in and thats the only area we have now. dad can probably explain it a little better. our sucess was with some formers, so for now we have 2 new investigators. but we are still looking...my best day, hmmmmmmm.... probably wednesday cuz i worked my butt off and idk i just felt really accomplished cuz i thought it was gonna be the worste day of my life but idk it was tough but we can only work and the lord does the rest. so companion, he is good. idk how to explain him, he wants to play more than anything and i think he is starting to get trunky cuz he has 5 months left and yeah. i do mostly everything i call people and talk to them on the street what not but then he takes credit for everything and idk says he is the one that does stuff so that bugs me a bit but im over it haha. Feeling the spirit the most was on sunday, alot of people talked about the atonement and it was a really good church meeting! i also gave a blessing and the guy was spanish but spoke english too and he said oh yeah you can give it in english so i said ok and i started in english but couldnt do it... i had to do it in spanish i just couldnt do it in english it was crazy... health is pretty good, i exercise but idk its weird we dont have enough time and elder isom sleeps in and if he does get up he wants to play sports but no one else goes so its hard. make sure you set a little time apart for you mom do what you need, go to the gym or what ever but dont stress your self out and burn out ok? so elder paredes, he has support and everything, thats just the way he is... dont worry about the letter. he goes home in september so hopefully he doesnt come visit ha..... im glad jose is good he is sooooo awesome, i use him so much as an example and he has been such an example to me. oh elder klien i love him and he is so awesome, we are gonna room at utah state if i go and he does too :) now i have 2 big things pushin me there so looks like thats winning! i dont think il be headed to hawaii at least not right away. well i love you all bunches and im glad to hear all is good and everyone is alive after the 4th! stay happy keep readin the scriptures as a family and you all will have a better relationships! i love you all a ton!!!!

TRANSFER NEWS..................im staying but we are losing part of our area which has our investigators in and taking part of another area and white washing but we are both staying...i knew elder klein would leave this transfer but i knew that you would be ok now. the Lord gave you someone to kind of help me not being there but can see that you are doing great now and that you dont need him to stay sane anymore lol. im sad he is leaving cuz i loved havin him close to you all and what not. you will have to road trip down to him once and a while, and while your in driggs for all brodys cavities see elder francis. IM SO PROUD OF BUB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im now going to be waiting for a letter from him that says where he'll be serving and when he leaves... thats crazy about the whole mishap with his papers tho. KaLee's softball, that's too bad they lost so many girls to summer basketball. sports are such a joke these days, i hate that its the way it is... oh well not much you can do, they will lose alot of good players. oh sebastion is kickin it in heaven with grandpa marshall hahah grandpa is teasin him with a cane that he doesnt even need but has so he can torment people with it hahahaha. this week was really good, i felt the spirit strongest on exchanges teaching Gabriela and idk it was really awesome. right now im bummed though cuz we officially have 0 investigators and we are restarting...... its going to be really really hard but its what the lord wants and knows that i can handle it. idk i have felt very afllicted lately but the words that the Lord told joseph smith when he was in jail and joseph said," oh god where art thou?" and the lord replies " be patient in thine afflictions for they are but a small moment..." its true and he knows, he has been through it all and they are very short we just need to rely on him. so it will all be ok. oh the baptism i had no idea until a couple days before and it was amazing i was super nervous though... the spirit was sooo strong! gosh i just cant explain the joy that i felt that night to know that finally she is baptized and she is on the path. my spanish is terrible but i will know quite a bit whem i get home. sundays are weird we have church at 2 so we go out for a bit before we go to church and have a bit of time that night. they are pretty slow though. BOM in spanish is good im slowin down a bit cuz i been readin like our heritage and our search for happiness and im now on jesus the christ. im very proud that you all like the horchata haha its amazing, im gonna mexicanize you all. lol. thank you all for everything you do and yes i feel your prayers everyday! i hope all is well and that you are all havin a great summer.
