In a Tri this week with a new comp on Wed!

im so very proud of you mom for not emailing WAY early. ha i was a little worried tho when i saw there was no letter from you... im sooooooo excited for blake that is sooooooo coool!!! kalee didnt tell me about districts but im sure il hear soon.i can look at attachments but there wasnt one ha, im super glad she had fun tho.im so proud of maddy and her yellow card hahahahaha no she is a good girl! i was so suprised to hear about bridger and piano, i cant even tell you how happy i am for him to play and that he loves it. he will never regret it. ryker is gonna be 11, what the heck he will be passing the sacrament when i get back... i dont even know what to say about some of those kids back home... i honestly want to cry cuz i know what its gonna do to their lives.i work with people every single day that have nothing and are barely scraping by beccause of that stuff, the worst part about it is that its soooo easy to fix. ughhhh idk... im so happy and proud of kegan, i hope he liked that stuff it wasnt much but idk it was something. i want him to do awesome! he is an awesome kid! camden still has that darn blanket?!?! im happy about the bat and ball though! sorry the stuff i sent wasnt much but i thought that you would like it, i love elder holland and the book of pictures i love a ton! well my comp got transfered early and im in a tri covering both our areas... but i get a new comp on wednesday and im staying, my allergies are ok no worries.we eat a ton everynight but mondays yes, its ridiculous haha i wish they didnt feed us quite so much. ummm we teach about 20 lessons a week or so.i dont think i had a best day this week, it was an odd week and im still not quite sure how i feel about it. well scripture study is good, just restarted the bom but in spanish cuz i just finished it in english, im in 2nd nefi 6 i think so im doin ok, i wanna finish it by my birthday in spanish. i cant even tell you how proud i am that you are finishing it tomrorw!!!! that is sooo awesome! haha idk about the accent but i can speak ok now i still got a looooooooong way to go. i love you all bunches and i hope everything is good! i will hopefully have some stories next week for yall!

Great to hear from everyone!

The phone call was great! No, you werent discouraging at all, it was super good to hear everyones voices again. itr was super crazy to hear camden and brody jabbering away like there was no tomorow. ha idk why you think the other kids listen to me so much but im super glad if they do, i want to be the good awesome influence and big bro that i should have years ago. ya i was calling from a cell phone but they bought 3 dollar calling cards for us to use anyway, but we tried to pay them back but they wouldnt have any of it haha they are super awesome. the guy actually gave me a suit the other day too, its way nice. they are awesome!! so the baptisms it was maria martinez rodriguez and her daughter yaritza martinez. OK, i will try and share more experiences in my emails. i have no clue about stuff to send with bro brewer to be honest i just kinda fly by the seat of my pants when it comes to my needs but i think everyone else is good really idk ha when is he coming? elder monahan is way awesome he is an elder in my district that i have really gotten along with, he still has a year left. he is from pensylvania and is just way cool, he has tried to talk me into goin to byu hawaii... but idk about that. it was pretty good timing though and kalee knows about the WHOLE cookies and thats what she will get one day ha she has never settled for half a cookie and wont. i am super glad that all is well there and i love you all sooooooooo much your amazing!!!

Beautiful hike in Arizona!

oh goodness time is not on my side today... i want to say sorry for 3 things first about emails, we went hiking today and it was amazing but its gonna make my email short. 2 sorry if you dont get your mothers day gift this week idk when it will make it. and the 3rd... i cant call on sunday... just kidding dont kill me and dont freak. we will probably call that night probably around 6 or 7 i think. i read kegs!!! the phillipeans is sweet he will do awesome, if you see him tell him im gonna write him next week cuz i had no time whatsoever today, actually call him please and tell him how stoked i am for him!!! im so glad bub started! i dont remember what i did for the egg drop but i think if you took like a a milk jug or something of that size and padded it super good with like toilet paper then put an egg in the middle and finish filling it, that might work, idk im sorry. the out house sounds cool. i cant even tell you how excited i am for vaughndavid, my heart just idk swells would be the best word but no i havnt gotten the invitation yet, soon. ha the whole Kalee thing i kinda knew i would be right. idk its weird even though we were at each other all the time we have kind of a bond and we know each other really well. il tell you about elder monahan another day ha i dont have time, and bah im sorry send all the questions again next week cuz i have no time. i love you all soooooooooooo much and i will talk to you soon. love taylor

People are happier with the gospel

well easter was pretty good, crazy, and weird cuz any sort of holiday doesnt really feel like a holiday. its just another day lol that i have the oppurtiunity to find people that need the gospel but it was good. thats cool that you got to go to the deal with elder klien, i am sooo glad he is doin well and you had a good time. speaking of elder klien his family sent me an easter package! they are soo awesome. idk whether KaLee loved the advice or not cuz she said she did and thanks for it haha but oh well she knows. mom i know that you worry alot but I trust her and i know that she will do the right thing.she is an amazing gir. she told me she got her blessing and was really excited about it. i told her to look for the warnings in it and to strengthen those areas. i heard a little about the trip ha sounds like i didnt miss much.things are good here, we had one baptisms 2 saturdays ago which was awesome, her name is alma sarrazin. the biggest need that i see for people. idk honestly strength in families, everyone we talk to has terrible family problems and its crazy but yeah idk there are so many things. people are honestly just happier with the gospel in thier life and their families become stronger. they finally have the spirit with them. so we had a neat experience this week, so the other elders that are in our ward with us had a baptism, it was this lady and she has a daughter that has down syndrom, well at the baptism the little girl who is over the age of 8 but doesnt have that mind set wanted to get baptized. we didnt know what to do cuz she doesnt have to get baptized and yeah so we figured things out and called mission president and he said if the mom wants and she wants then she can be baptized also. so we started the service and it came time to actually do the baptisms. the mom went first, then the girl stepped down innto the water. when the guy was sayin the prayer the girl smiled the whole time, i thought about Jesus Christ because this girl was pure, perfect, spotless and she still wanted to be baptized like Jesus was. when she came out of the water the smile on her face was amazing, my heart swelled like i cant explain but it was amazing! the easter pageant is awesome , but i like it better in spanish than in english... idk ha but we definately have to come back. there are alot of protestors which bugs me cuz they say how they are christian but if you are christian you try to do as christ would and he definately would say terrible things and try and destroy peoples faith.i havnt gotten the package yet but thats sweet brother brewer is comin haha il have to send stuff home with them. remind me when its a little closer to when he is coming. im so stoked for keg but i gotta give bub and brandon a reganar session. thats so weird everyone is getting married ha i wanna see invitations haha. your gonna be angry with me cuz i still dunnno the plan for mothers day.... sorry il let you know next week :) im so proud of you guys and the missionary work you are doing! well i love you all bunches and il let you know about mothers day next monday.

The work is exploding!

this week FLEW i cant even begin to explain how fast it went. haha If you have to count down to mother's day dont go crazy counting then, it seems weird to me im gonna call again so fast. i have no idea when or where we will be calling from sooo sorry, if you give me a cell # i can call one of those first or something idk ha. we cant do skype sorry... that is soooo awesome im stoked for kade, he will not regret going. im so excited for keg! that is sooo awesome im freaking out inside for him haha.i sent KaLee a letter last monday so idk whats going on... i didnt know about the patriartical blessing, thats sooo cool. idk the actual address of my apartment so just send stuff to the mission home its ok. but yeah it is the one behind the taco bell. me and elder cuenca are doing great, the work is EXPLODING. we had a baptism last saturday with a lady named alma oh wow it was amazing she was sooo ready and the spirit was so strong. you could see the difference in her. we have 2 baptisms not this coming saturday but the next and then we have 1 on the 7th of may and 4 on the 14th of may!!! its soo amazing we are workin our tails off here. my schedule is the same 6 am run 7 shower and eat 8 personal study 9 comp study 10 language and we eat and we are off. so investigators: we have a fam. the martinez fam they have 2 little girls and an older one and a little boy. we are teaching a lady named jaquelin who is 25 and has a 1 year old little boy named jaun but we call him pollito and he is the bomb. we are teaching a lady named alicia bautista and she is sooo awesome, she has some fam problems but they are being solved little by little and she has found such a peace in the gospel. she reads the book of mormon when her husband is watching a movie she doesnt feel is appropriate to watch, its awesome. we have a family named monroy that are awesome but are hard to get a ahold of. a guy and his wife leonardo and ignacia and they are awesome, we are going to set a date with them next lesson. we have more but i dont have a ton of time haha. so im gonna answer a couple questions yes i went to the easter pagent it is absolutely amazing and that is probably where i felt the spirit the strongest, the pagent after i get home we are all coming dow for cuz wow... and its HUUUUUUUUGE there are soooooooo many people there. il send a pic of the stage and stuff next week. So with VT,sometimes it is very hard not to be discouraged and feel like you wasted time. the thing that i love is that in preach my gospel it says "no effort is wasted" not one single one. now to help with them, next time you go over, idk if you have like a certain lesson to teach but ask them if they had a missionary experience or how maybe some piece of the gospel has helped them in their life. and before you go in next time say a prayer and ask to know "their" needs the thing we try to do is teach people, not lessons, and if we can know their needs we can help them. bah im out of time i gotta go im down to seconds i love you all sooooooo much i hope you have a great day and week!

Liahona 4th ward

hahahaha so i had no clue about my area, all i knew was that my comp was elder cuenca (who is the missionary that i stayed my very first night in arizona with) i didnt know where i was stayin what branch or ward i was in nothin. ha but now i do. im in its called liahona 4th ward, its not even a branch it is a ward, im still in a car which is nice for the summer. idk the address of my apartments but i can tell ya where they are. its on mesa drive and brown just north of the canal on the west side. they are like a reddish color i think haha. so elder cuenca is super awesome! he is from new york, he has been out 2 transfers more than me and he is a hard worker. his family is from ecuador but he was born here. my first week was crazy but we taught lessons and thats about it haha. i met soooo many people but i can really only remember the investigators names hahah and some of the members too i guess. we are teaching a lady named alma that is supposed to be baptized this weekend so i am excited she is awesome, another lady named maria who has 2 weeks til her baptism, and jaquelin who has 2 weeks also. jaquelin has a little boy named juan but we call him pollo or pollito haha (look up pollo you will laugh) but he is the cutest little stinker. yeah it was super tough leaving, it felt like i was restarting again, finding new people and i had made some bonds with those people.the area wasnt a restart there has been missionaries here . there have been a lot of times i felt the spirit, one was during a lesson and we were talking about the word of wisdom and i felt like i needed to share a scripture on faith and yeah it was what they needed at the moment. umm my testimony, idk elder cuenca has really helped me realize the strength of my testimony so its not that it really has changed but i just like know how much i really have i guess.hahahhaha yeah kylee has givin me a couple hair cuts, i was pretty sure i told you that she had already though. we are pretty close to her house maybe like five minutes or so not far at all but she is out of our zone and area. im sad elder francis is leavin but its crazy that elder klien is stayin, that is sooooooo long in that area.thats crazy about their bikes too, dad is a great guy he always has been and always will be.hahaha you cant move to arizona for another 17 months sorry mom. I can't wait for Keg's call. Brandon and Bub too, they all need to get those papers done!!!!! thats crazy about kegs collar bone. another one of satans wys to stop young men from going is injuries... im so glad you go to the temple soo much, its amazing the blessings you get when you go. when i told you to go every week i just wanted you to be happy and feel peace and yeah ha. mom dont stress yourself out counting down to mother's day, just dont think about it and it comes alot faster. i love you all bunches and i cant wait to get all your letters. oh yeah if you send me a list of things you want me to talk about il get started on a tape, idk what on earth to say. maybe il just start anyway we shall see. anyway i love you all alot!

ok family i have a a commitment for you that i really really want you to do. every single day i want you to read the book of mormon, at least 5 pages. i promise it will bring more peace into the home, kids this part is for you. im out here teaching kids of all ages adults to and we ask them to read everyday and some do it,some dont. you can see the difference in the ones that do, they are happier and they have better days. the key is you have to have a good attitude about it, yeah its hard to get up in the morning and read with a smile on your face but if you do and you want to read you will be blessed so much. so when you start this, kids be good, dont complain and really try and pay attenetion, i wish i would have when i was there... i really promise that if you do this you will be so much better off, you will have better days and will just have a better attitudewith everything. i hope to hear about how you are readin as a family everyday.

Dad, the new area is pretty awesome i love it the people here are sweet! my comp is bomb his name is elder cuenca and he is from new york. we have 3 baptisms this month and hopefully at least 2 next month. yeah kylee cut my hair a couple times its been pretty cool. fishin.... yeah didnt catch nothin but i loved it anyway, i hope your ready to go cuz in 2 years we are gonna fish like there is no tomorow cuz i miss it hahahaha, i did try to hold my mouth right but i just lost it so you gotta reteach me. well pops im glad all is well i hope your havin a good time and stayin busy, mom said you painted basicly everyones room so sounds like your busy haha. i love you bunchs and cant wait to hear from you again.

New area and New companion!

I can't believe that Francis is going to driggs?!?! hahaha now stuart can take care of him haha he is gonna be like, man stosich has family EVERYWHERE. thats super awesome that klien is stayin, i figured he would probably go but nope. im going... im super nervous cuz it is a restart with the area and all of that but my comps name is elder cuenca and he is AWESOME he trained elder scherbel. im super excited but nervous at the same time ha. the week was ok not the best but its ok im just tryin to keep a positive attitude. oh i know not a thing about the area ha. idk about best day but um i felt the spirit during conference the most, it was awesome. i loved elder hollands talk at the very end of confrence maybe just cuz he is awesome but i liked it. we have 2 baptisms set up for the day i leave... oh well at least they are gonna be baptized. their names are marco (15) and ariel (17) gaytan.
Lupe and Josh's mom is doin awesome she listened to conference yesterday and didnt drink cofee either! all she needs is sundays off and to completely let go of cofee and she is there. my allergies are ok, my nose gets plugged but oh well. i havnt seen scherbel in a while its a bummer. the car, no we got the car cuz they finally realized that we have the biggest area in the mission cuz we take in the indian reservation for all spanish speakin. not cuz of the heat, sooner or later il be back on bike haha in this oven. ok idk what stories they told you but im really not a bad driver, if anyone is a bad driver its morgan! i actually would put my seat belt on when she was driving... siempre estaba miedo! the pt cruiser was CRAZY i couldnt believe it. well i love you all, i have 3 more letters from you so im gonna send this and look at them and send some pics in another email.

Jose says he is good i havnt heard from him in a couple weeks. the paredes thing dont worry about its not a big deal, he is only a person in the world what he does and says wont have an effect on me unless i let it. the magnesium and calcium i will definately try and hopefully it helps cuz this no sleep buisness is kickin my butt! haha everything will be ok. well i love you all bunches and bunches and i miss ya but i got alot of work to do and only 17 months to do it in.

My testimony is strengthened every day!

hahahaha ok so i got this email and i know that you are always emailing im just givin ya a hard time when i say stuff about it. ok so best day this week... i have no idea we had alot of exchanges this week and it was crazy ha. yeah i really dont know cuz it was just a weird week. new investigators umm not really we have found a few people that we are gonna try and teach but who knows ha they are pretty flaky and some of our investigators are progressing, but its rough cuz they wont let go of the catholic religion its just part of them. they know it is wrong and everything but they cant let go...hmmm so i felt the spirit the strongest on exchanges we taught a 19 year old and his 16 year old girl friend the spirit was just super strong there. my testimony is strengthened everyday, i just have seen alot of people with bad stuff in their life and we try and share that all that can go away and that Jesus suffered for all of that and when the people apply it its soo amazing because they are happy. well if you looked at all the pics i sent last time there is a temp of 86 degrees and it was actually hotter than that earlier that day, now its about 75 and its 10:23 but here in an hour or so it will be 80's. ummm me and elder chavez are better now we worked it out pretty good there was just alot of crap goin on and yeah i felt like i was babysittin and doin EVERYTHING. its pretty good now plus transfers are here soon. yeah the letter from elder paredes... honestly didnt like him, i trried my hardest and i didnt wanna talk negative about him home or anywhere. i learned mostly what not to do with him especially when training. but oh well i forgive him and hope that he has a good mission. if you see steven tell him i am soooo excited for him! i love you all sooooooo much and miss ya for sure but it is awesome here and im glad to be here. here are some pics.

thanks for the email pops i love to get them from ya. yeah scott muir i couldnt beleive that and i didnt even recognize him haha. another cool thing about that day was that jim smith took me through at the end of the session into the celestial room. it was an awesome day! the work is goin alright still a little slow, but goin we are findin people but they are all "catholic" ugh if i got a quarter for everytime i have heard that i would be a billionare, they dont go to church or anything but it is tradition. i love in the book of mormon how it talks about how they had to teach the people about the foolish traditions of their fathers and what not, that is how i feel. they all believe in the bible and the ten commandments and yet they worship the virgin mary and the saints!?! its very frustrating sometimes... but other than that all is well, we have a car that i love haha. it has been pretty hot lately too. i hope your all doin well i love you bunches!
