Winter, the spirit & scorpions!

hahahaha so for the email you sent before this elder pearson is elder scherbels new comp. so yeah i know him lol he is nice. hahaha winter is leavin here (the little winter they have) and summer is on its way. it is warmin up so hopefully it will start there too. bahhh im soooo jealouse hahaha dad is goin on all sorts of hunts without me. hmmmm... before i forget vaughndavid and rachel getting married when? no one has said anything to me for a while about all that. haha kalees wisdom teeth make me laugh i can only imagine what she looked like. oh well you just answered my question bout vaughndavid and rachel. heck what is this guys phone number and address il get him to write a letter lol. thank you for the money i will find a recorder and hard drive, im gonna try and find a recorder that uses a memory card so thats all i have to send. yeah i need garretts email and address in mexico cuz i haad a letter but he left today and wasnt goona get it at the mtc. everything is good here we have 2 new investigators named jesus and rebecca they are awesome, they came to church on sunday and loved it and we are gonna set a date with them the next time we meet with them so hopefully... ummm the time that i felt the spirit most was we were teachin lupes mom and she was havin a hard time and i just decided to bear my testimony to her about prayer and what not and idk the spirit was super strong the rest of the lesson it was amazing. yes im takin vitamins and what not and exercising. im good now the sickness was a one day thing. im ok dont worry.i see scherbel once and a while but i havnt seen addison or davis since they left. haha i saw 2 chubby black boys the other day and immediately thought of brody and camden. im sooo glad that they know what im doing that really idk just makes me happy. i hope everything is good there and i love you all bunches.

i bet you enjoyed the sun in Vegas for a couple days haha i get it like everyday buuuut sun doesnt always mean warm ha its been kinda cold here really windy and rainy man its kinda like idaho... baaaaaah lol im glad you enjoyed phantom ha im sure it was a blast especially with the girls and everyone. i cannot believe that stinkin lizard is still alive, wow i figured it would die in a couple days ha. thats cool. Dad cut the babies hair??? oh goodness i remember the last time WE cut the babies hair, I, myself taylor,will never cut their hair again A. because they hated it and B. because you wanted to kill me and it was not a good day so i cant believe he did it again. im worried too about rykers hair but i mean he probably saw the pictures of me cuttin my own hair and figured he could do it lol. i cannot believe bridgers birthday is so soon he is growin up fast!!! and olivia too wow it kinda blows my mind. yeah i would do the tape recorder, if you guys want to ha that would be fine with me. i will go get one that holds a memory card and get a memory card today and then you can match it? il try and get the cheapest one. yeah lupe is comin for sure and i told her that you would see her, im pretty sure im sendin some stuff with her so make sure there is room in the back of the car hahahaha. we are teachin her mom and she is comin along a little bit but she was a jehovahs witness and is strugglign with some of the beliefs but i want to see their whole ffamily become memebers and be sealed so im gonna do all i can to help. i havnt heard from jose in a loooooooong time.... i think you shoudl do as much as you want for him mom you were like a second mom to him. so everything here is pretty good language is comin i seem to know a little more each day. the week was ok umm i was sick and that is what the withdrawels were for. im good though so no worries. i am with the same companion, and it is kinda common to be in the same place for so long but il probably get transfered next transfer.i did get the valentines package haha thank you. im glad you enjoed the videos they were pretty funny. im sorry your headed back to snow and im not at the same time, ha i kinda miss the snow ha idk what about it maybe the smell or kinda the fresh feeling idk lol but i miss it. im glad everything is good there and i love you all!

p.s. the hard drive i was thinkin about doin that cuz i have a ton more stuff and like i wanna make sure i have EVERYTHING from my mission and if i have a hard drive i can get stuff from members and then the computer at home isnt completely jam packed with stuff and i will be able to have the pics and stuff after my mission like when im married and what not.

Transfers... I'm stayin!

hahaha ok so im sure your super mad at me cuz i didnt email yesterday buuuuut they changed it on us cuz of presidents day... here it is BEAUTIFUL ha startin to really warm up again and i LOVE it hahah. im so glad Keg got the letter it really wasnt much but im glad that he likes them! I am soooo glad that you go every week to the temple i know it will continue to help and i knew it would help! Yes, satan works in mysterious ways, he can even make things like going to the temple seem bad or like it's causing more problems. I know it is the spirit that you bring home afterwards is what helps. im pretty positive that i will go every week when i get home, especially after i am married. Madeline would love playin in the mud haha! what a goof! i didnt write her last week cuz i thought she was in st george all week. i'll write her today, let her know. That's so great how everyone pictched in for Jose's dinner. i love how that happens, how everyone comes together for a great cause, thats one of the things that i love about out there in osgood, everyone helps each other its amazing its like a giant family. As far as changing what day you write, you can write whenever you have time ha i just like gettin letters from everyone haha so when ever is ok with me. i did get a king cake from the Kleins ha they are awesome! we have to get together with them when this is over cuz idk i just feel super close to klien and i know you do too ha and his mom so that would be awesome. another person i will be hangin out with after is elder davis who sadly is getting transfered.... i wont be able to see him anymore well not for a while anyway...well my life is pretty good i must say i have had a wild week, it rained quite a bit this week and i got sick... 101.3 degree fever and i was super achy it was TERRIBLE i was asked not to go out so i didnt get people sick and i was later grateful cuz at one point in the day i could hardly walk it was crazy! i havnt been sick like that in a LOOONG time. teaching and new people are going slow, we have some people in our branch that have kids that havnt been baptized so we are really workin on them but other than that we are lookin. Transfers......... im stayin haha! they get to deal with me at least one more transfer lol what happened with klien and francis???? as for ctr bikes idk anything about them and no one here has used them, what everyone does is either sees if a missionary there has one or buys one there. i can ask some more buuuut it will be a whole week before i can let ya know. im glad that i am settin a good example for everyone, i love it here and its sooo amazing to do this work. its the only time i will have to do this. as for the questions your answers helped a ton ha i was confused about that stuff and i dont remember the other ones il have to let ya know next time. so how is your weight loss going? still asking for the help and strength to do it? well i love everyone and i miss you all i hope everything is good there, your in my prayers. il send pics next week i forgot my camera sorry.

Teaching through the spirit

haha yeah it is crazy we are emailin already i swear a week really isnt a week anymore, time just zips by. haha I know it's different now that my pday is monday. im sure havin that break of chores on tuesday was nice. so yeah, il give ya another 6 months to get used to monday since these 6 have flown ridiculously fast. i wouldnt say I'm freakin out about the time yet, but it seems crazy! now, when you say a year, il probably be freakin out ha. oh yeah there are days that i think oh goodness this is never ever gonna end lol but then there are days that i say oh man i dont have enough time to get done what i need to get done. yeah im sooo glad you have had Klein and Francis for these 4 months cuz i think that's helped you guys out alot. yeah i will see what i can do to cheer Klein up. thats too bad that he is takin it hard, ha i know if that happened to me id probably take it pretty rough for awhile too. i love him and he is a strong missionary and he will be ok i know it. IM SOOOOOOOOOO glad Jose took out his endowments finally!!! oh i knew he would be ok. thats sweet your all goin to phantom! that will be super fun! ok best and worst. well i felt sick on saturday so that was definately the worst besides the investigators that said they were gonna come to church not showin up and cuz we are on bikes and they live forever away we couldnt zip over and say something. best part though was we had some dropped investigators text and ask us to come back over and we did and idk the spirit was super strong and we didnt teach a PMG lesson i felt like we needed to read out of the book of mormon. they really needed it! they had alot of questions that needed to be answered and we wouldnt have found out if we wouldnt have read. of course i am still writin in my journal, idk if i told you but i kinda promised myself that i would be like dad and write EVERY day in my journal. the ball field was AMAZING!!! yeah that was elder davis, so its a long story but i was with the rez elders and we had to go see someone in their ward who just so happened to be the VP of the rez and he had a bunch of ball stuff in his office and i was like i LOVE baseball and we got to talkin and he goes, "Hey would you guys wanna go check out the new stadium for the rockies and the diamondbacks?" haha you can probably imagine what i said UHHHH YES!!!!!! definately one of the coolest things ever. the guy on the rez was super sad but i know that the spirit did testify to him, and i know i still have a language barrier but i CAN teach through the spirit. i havnt gotten that package yet but i hope to soon, did you get my little package with the jump drive in it???? i hope so. the time is flyin and next thing ya know i will be checkin this again to write ya some more. i hope everything is good there and i want you all to know i love you bunches!

Pday changing to Monday!

ok so i really dunno what happened last week cuz i emailed it just didnt go through. yeah thats why we are emailin today but from now on it will be on mondays they are changin our pday to mondays for some reason...i idk what the trainin is we havnt been yet. but i am super excited that you will go see Josha and Lupe at Conference! i am gonna send some stuff home that i have aquired with them and you can take it haha then i dont have to ship it lol. idk how long they will be there or where they are stayin il have her let you know over facebook all the info. well we dont have any new investigators really we are tryin hard to find some but its tough no one really wants to progress. jose is soooooo close to goin its sooooo awesome im excited for him, im glad i was a good example to him and i know he is a good example to soooo many people around him sooo thats super awesome! this email is not a very big one but i have pictures for ya so i hope that makes up for it. we got to go tour the diamondbacks rockies spring training stadium it was sweet! im definately workin hard and im not comin home for about 18 months haha so dont worry. i love you all and miss you a ton but i too know all the blessings i will recieve and you are recieving. i hope all is well.

Spanish whooped me...

wow the weeks FLY!!! i swear i just emailed like yesterday. well the best part of my week was when i got to go out with the rez elders twice and it was awesome ha i really like talkin with the indians out there, i got a chance to talk to an investigator of ours out there and well i guess my best and worst time happened with them cuz idk when i talked to this investigator it was really hard for me and idk it was rough. we went over and he speaks only spanish and its me and the rez elders and they are english. so we go in and we start talkin and i asked if he thought god loved him and he said he didnt know cuz his son was shot and killed a year ago and he knows who did it and where he lives but the police never did anything to him and the guy is still out there. he is severely depressed and it was sooo hard cuz i tried sooo hard to comfort him and i didnt feel like i could, i mean i guess spanish kinda whooped me that night but i did my best and i tried to bring the spirit and i know that comforted him some but that was pretty rough for me. my new comp is cool. umm not really any new investigators, we are lookin though. josh and lupe are good ha they are awesome. haha yes both Andrea and her sister got baptized and their parents are members but they were less active and the mom is now comin to church but the dad works on Sundays. the language is still movin slow ha but its comin.oh the weather is beautiful ha thats all im gonna say so no one gets mad haha. no i havnt been to the temple in a little while but we go soon. Jarom is going to south africa! That is sweet! thats crazy its so far away, his entry date though. im stoked jose is takin his endowments out finally! i love them both, Bobbie and Jose, but its gonna be hard for him to leave. trust me i know how hard it is to leave a girl home ha... i wish he was at the house more too, i havnt heard from him in a looooooooong time its kinda sad. oh man sounds like the house is gonna be CRAZY thats a lot of kids runnin around. im super glad my advice helped, ha i know that sometimes we do think that. HA he doesnt care about my weight or HA its not important that im slow or what ever it may be, but he does. idk thats one of the things ive learned is to rely on the lord for EVERYTHING ha and im glad you know that now, i think you knew that but sometimes you just feel silly askin for help with that stuff. I know he will help so great job!!! im glad your gettin to the temple ha if it does the same thing for you as it does for me then you need it once a week ha i need it that much but i got work to do and cant go that often. yeah that counts if you go twice in a week to catch up. hows dad been with the temple, is he gettin there? so elder klein got dear johned again??? he did in the mtc so idk whats goin on haha. tell him to mail me and talk to me about what he is havin a hard time with. well im definately workin hard and will continue to do so, i love the peopel and i know that even though some times are frustrating that i gotta keep goin cuz they need this message and wont be able to make it without. i want them to have eternal families as bad as i want mine. well i hope all is well i love you all alot and i miss ya.

Crazy dreams and tires that POP!

well first off the dream you had is crazy hahahaha! my church is a couple miles from the temple, not connected to it and my bike is DEFINATELY not a low rider haha! if you came i would introduce you to alot of missionaries ha cuz well i know alot of them. did you get a prescription from matt for some pills??? lol in a tree like tarzan bahahaha nah havnt done that one yet either. yeah i hate it when the alarm ruins dreams ha i had that happen a couple times last week.wow i cant believe all those people got their calls thats crazy! im stoked for them! it is rough sometimes but it is for everyone we just all have to remember that those times make us stronger and help us better appreciate our savior Jesus Christ. haha thats sweet Saiko is an awesome name for the puppy! haha im sure dad doesnt like the poopin in the garage ha i remember him always gettin all sorts of mad when the animals did that ha i can just picture him and it puts a smile on my face. i love that im not the only missionary in the family. My whole family is working to do the same thing i am, to help people make it back to live with their families forever. so with your diet im gonna tell ya the same exact thing we tell people that smoke or drink or anything that isnt good for them, first turn to your heavenly father and ask him for help. i know you may be thinkin thats silly to ask him to help you lose weight or have motivation to do so but its not. 2nd find something to replace eating a great thing is the book of mormon, heck you can still eat too just grab a granola bar and sit down and read for a minute or a while, then 3rd thank heavenly father for that support and help. ha i know if you do that it will help, and when you wake up in the mornings ask for help through out the day. wow well my comps name is elder Chavez, from california he is cool, yeah we get along pretty good. baptism went pretty good with andrea and her sister. my week and the work is startin to go slower, people just arent progressing and so yeah we are kinda doin the same thing scherbel is idk its just been tough and findin new people is gettin tough too. i do have a lock for my bike so dont stress , now i just need steel tubes for my tires bah they pop sooooo much its a joke. everything is good though i just gotta stay workin hard. i love you all a ton hope everything is good there.

well another week down. yeah pdays come super quick and i am amazed its been 5 months too ha im almost a 4th of the way done, that just seems crazy to me. well i knew bad news would come, and it is just part of life... that is sad Kahla got hit by a car but i knew that something would happen. the part im sad for is that i wasnt there to take care of it, i know where i am at is the best place i could ever be but idk bridger is sooo young and he is doin all the stuff i did... im proud of him, he is growing up really fast and he seems to be fillin in my shoes. im sure it was super hard for him as it was for me when trixie died, but he did what he was supposed to and just had you go inside. im sure it was and probably still is pretty hard for shoka cuz those two were 2 peas in a pod ha but she will be ok her and the new puppy will have fun. hahaha well i would say bently cuz i think that is a sweet name buuuuuut i wanna name a kid that so dont name him that. name him like beneli or something hahaha. he is a cute little sucker though ha make sure he is there when i get back, im gonna need a huntin dog ha. i wont lie though i was expectin to hear sebastian died if anyone did but it doesnt suprise me he is still bitin. he really didnt go outside much when i was still there and if he did it was to lay in the sun. soooo new companion and the week. well week was kinda slow again people are bein super flakey lately so we are tryin to find new people to teach. my comp is awesome he is from east LA and is hispanic, he knows english too of course. he has been out for 7 months so 2 more than me and he is a hard worker too. he trained an elder that was in my mtc district elder tuttle. he is helpin my spanish so much cuz he makes me teach alot. idk about good and bad for the week ha we have another baptism this saturday though with a 9 year old of a less active that we found and are activating her and her fam. i did get a new bike and the work is pretty good it kinda slowed down but we are tryin to find more prepared people cuz there are alot who will listen but dont progress. well we teach josh and the morans still, jose kinda flaked out he goes to church and stuff but is never home and doesnt really want us to come over and actually teach him anymore. josh got the preisthood which was super awesome. language is still progressing slowly but its gettin there ha honestly it feels like it goes super slow but oh well its comin haha.i actually had an interview with president yesterday which was good he is good and really nice. we dont have a ton of contact with them tho. il send some pictures of the elder from driggs, elder davis, but the other elder is far away from me right now. haha yeah im excercizing, we bench press in the mornings and i do sit ups and stuff too. baaahhhhh I can't believe my guitar music was in that package! i hate the mail system here it sucks but oh well ummm i think my teacher's name was dunmyer or something haha i dont remember. hahaha ok well if Madeline is writin thats ok, tell her to email me too and i will back. i hope everything is good there i love you all and you all better take care too. what is garret myers email? welp love ya.

I'm stayin!

well first off transfer news, im stayin another transfer and im gettin a new comp ha crazy i know! haha so i meet him tomorow so we shall see. yeah my bike well honesetly im not quite sure what happened but somehow my rims got bent and to replace them its over 300$ and then the crank is messed up to cuz of the rim. im lookin for a somewhat cheap one but there arent very many... im doin what i can tho. ha im glad you liked the question that I wrote Dad about, i wasnt like super confused i guess but it kinda threw me off. like after i wrote dad the little note i was like over come with peace and i didnt worry about it and didnt think about it and then dad explained it perfectly. the whole weight watchers thing i do remember ha i even remember goin and waitin in the car while you were in your meeting. your certainly welcome i didnt know that it was such a huge help. i didnt get an email from keg but i CANNOT believe he is startin his papers already like wow idk im sooooo proud of him and all of those guys i cannot wait til they are all out and what not. man jose really needs to take out his endowments, it would be good for him. thats soooo awesome that Garret and Matt are in the mtc they are gonna love their missions. so best part of the week and worst: we will start with the worst, i was sick again but idk what with i got crazy chills and aches and headaches that were horrible but i had no fever at all. idk what was goin on. best part was definately goin to the temple with elder hainsworth and some people he baptized at the beggining of his mission. idk what all you can say but you will understand if i like "simplize"-elder stosich( if thats not a word and im pretty sure its not i made it) so umm at the end of the endowment session the guy went through and got to take his wife through and idk it just hit me really hard just some of the stuff that went on and like its soooooo amazing what happens in the temple and then after that we went and they were sealed. i got to be one of the witnesses and that hit me super hard to cuz like idk i just helped them be complete forever. it was amazing! there wasnt alot in between we are teachin alot of people still we did find this less active lady who wants to come back to church and wants her 8 and 9 year old daughters to be baptized so we are teachin them which is amazing. other than that its been about the same. the BOM is amazing im reading it again and im back in alma 4 its so great and it helps soooo much. im soooooo glad the "babies" havnt forgotten me, ha i wont lie that was one of my worst fears just cuz they are soooo young. i show you guys off to everyone, i carry around that little red picture case and show EVERYONE ha its awesome. you all mean so much to me and i pray for you every single day.brody is a silly little boy and i cannot believe how much he has grown up. well i hope all is well and i love you all a ton. have a great day and i will attach some pics. love taylor

I have all I need!

yeah the new year is way weird ha it doesnt feel any different ha but im pushin 5 months now ha thats weird! time is goin quick. well for us we sang at christmas lights on new years eve which was awesome, idk if anyone recorded it but you could try and look it up on you tube mesa az missionaries sing at christmas light 2010 i may or may not have been in a small group number too haha. but yeah thats what we did then we had a dinner with all the missionaries so it was cool ha i had a mtc reunion it was great. yes i had dinner with the Dyers and it was awesome we talked about dads and russ' mission and like the differences between mine and theirs and what not it was neat i had a good time. i did get extra cards and stuff for Christmas. I'm very thankful to hear from all of them. you know about the family cards and letters but i got some cookies from pat and dale and i got cards from reeds, wards, harrisons, i got a letter froms snarrs ha i heard from alot of people it was super cool. josh is doin awesome and Lupe is awesome too! they are both soooo solid, ha i told Lupe how you would probably talk to her a bunch cuz she gets to see me more than you. ummm our next baptism is on the 15th of this month her name is martha and she has been investigating for 3 years and is finally getting baptized and we also have that date set for a mom and her 3 kids but the mom isnt doin anything and hasnt come to church so we are going to have to move her date. the kids are great, the come to church and read a little bit. joses was on the 27th which was the saturday.yeah transfer news is this saturday, i have a feeling im movin but i have no idea. i will be able to email so no worries ha just dont send anything directly to the house im at cuz i may not get it.send it through the mission office.haha il let you know EVERYTHING hahahaha. with jose going to the temple just tell him to keep his mind open and he will be fine, its amazing how the lord comforts you with the new things ha. make sure he knows that its symbolic and like to pray and stuff before and like i said just to have an open mind. tell him he wont understand it all the first time, just like you told me basicly. tell him im soooooo proud of him too. gosh im so excited for him. il be out a 4th of my mission when he leaves and almost half when like bub keg and brandon go. how crazy is that? yeah poor pam... if you get a chance to talk to garret or pam tell them im proud of him and tell him to have fun at the mtc not to stress about stuff but to put it in the lords hands. yeah i got Elder Klein's email ha i love him he is sooooo awesome! im sure it has been good to have them there but yeah i think that was the Lords way of kinda weening you ha he took me away and kinda gave you someone close to me and he may take them away now but i think you will be ok. thats awesome that the guys are droppin like flies and heading for the field! ha im stoked for all of them they will love it, i cant wait to hear where they are going. yeah i knew marsh and dana were goin up and he is gonna use my winter stuff so you may want to find that again hahaha but you will all be ok and it will be lots and lots of fun. oh grandpa how is he doin, i worried about him almost more than anyone cuz i was with him alot. he is one of my best friends. potty training sounds good ha im glad that they are doin good with it. so random question and like dont worry about me like freakin out or anything but is sebastion still kickin it? i saw a cat like him the other day and was like huh i wonder how he is doin. well il definately keep sharin my testimony ha i dont have much else and ya know between the gospel, my testimony of it and my family, i'm content and happy! there is anything else in the world that i really need. im so greatful for this gospel and your examples that have helped me sooo much. i love you all and cant wait to hear from you again!
